Our professional guide will meet you to start your Sharjah City Tour. This guided tour with transfers (to and from Dubai) allows you to discover some of Sharjah’s classic sights and attractions such as the emirate’s biggest mosque at King Faisal Mosque, which is one of the largest in the Emirati area and where you can enjoy Emirati culture and learn historical anecdotes about the city.
The first stop will be Culture Square on Al Wahda Road. This will be then followed by the Ajman Museum and, returning back and passing along the beautiful cornices of Ajman and Sharjah, famous for its white sandy beaches, we will arrive at the Palace of the Ruler of Sharjah. From there we will head to Souq Al Majarrah on Corniche Street. It is presumed to be the oldest market in the UAE and was once considered the heart of the city. Being here transports one back to ancient times. Here, in an air-conditioned alleyway with a traditional ancient setting, you will find numerous stores selling local handicrafts, ethnic jewelry, baskets, medicinal herbs, and carpets.
The next stop after your visit to the Al Majarrah Souk is the Blue Souk. There you will find up to 600 colorful stores with great bargains of gold, silver, precious stones or modern jewelry, or beautiful carpets and rugs. This is Sharjah's most popular market, built-in 1979.
Take the road to the Al Hisn Fort, the former residence of the ruling family of Sharjah. A large central courtyard with high surrounding walls linking three towers shows traditional architecture at its finest. The fort's paintings depict various stages of the Emirate's development and events that are part of Sharjah's history.
Next, as we return to Dubai, we will pass by the Buheira Corniche to admire the famous fountain, the third-highest water jet in the world.
After that your unforgettable Sharjah City Tour ends with a transfer back to your destination in Dubai.
