Your first stop will be the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, popularly known as "The White Mosque". This mosque not only stands out as the largest mosque in the world, but it is also the only mosque that captures a unique combination of the Islamic world and the cultures of the world. Built with the vision of architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations, the mosque celebrates the cultural variety of the world. There were Italian, British, and Emirati architects who worked hard to design and build an architectural masterpiece. The pieces came from Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt, among other Islamic countries, which reveals a brilliant architectural marvel with an astonishing 40,000-seat capacity for worshippers and visitors. The mosque is named after the late president, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. We next have a photo stop at the Emirate Palace Hotel, the 3rd most luxurious hotel in the world, which cost around 3 billion US dollars to build.
Drive through Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen area, home to President's Square, royal family palaces & iconic high-rise hotels with views of the Persian Gulf. The next stop will be the Abu Dhabi Corniche, an 8 km stretch of perfectly shaped waterfront promenade with a children's play area, beach, numerous cafes, and fine dining restaurants, making it one of the best places in Abu Dhabi to spend the whole day.
Afterward, you will be guided to the Abu Dhabi Marina Mall, where you will have time for shopping. The next stop will be the Abu Dhabi Date Market, a must-see. An outstanding place where you will get high-quality dates that are produced locally in the UAE and also from Oman and Arabia. Then, you will move on to the Abu Dhabi Heritage Village, where you will have the opportunity to sample the traditional aspects of the desert way of daily life.
After the visit to the heritage village, you will continue to Abu Dhabi's best attraction, the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum of Art and Civilization. The museum is the first Middle Eastern universal museum that translates the spirit of openness of cultures and features 9,200 square meters of galleries including the permanent gallery and a Temporary Gallery that showcases the collection of many notable French museums, such as the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Pompidou Center.
As time permits, a quick visit will be made to Yas Island. The island is a multi-purpose leisure destination in Abu Dhabi and is home to Ferrari World, Warner Bro's World, Yas Water World, and the Yas Marina Circuit. A 15-minute photo stop will be made at Ferrari World.
After this long city tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
