Exchanging money in Jordan is simple. You can use cash or traveler's cheques from different countries, but US dollars are the most commonly accepted. UK pounds and euros are also accepted, but Australian and New Zealand dollars won't work. You can bring dinars into Jordan without any problems. If you want to change dinars back into foreign currency, you'll need to show proof that you exchanged your money at a bank in Jordan. Banks usually offer slightly better rates than other places, but it's not a big difference unless you're changing a lot of money. Some big hotels can also exchange money, but their rates are usually lower. There are small bank branches at the borders and airports too.
