The Aswan and Luxor markets offer very different experiences. Because Luxor is a bigger and more well-liked tourist destination, the merchants there are more aggressive and the marketplaces are more packed. The markets in Aswan are less crowded and the traders are less pushy because the city is smaller and more laid back.

Pharaoh Khufu was a very important king in Egypt who built a huge pyramid in Giza around 2550 B.C. It was the first pyramid built there and it used to be tall, about 481 feet high. Now it's a little shorter because some of the stones on the outside have been taken off.
