After having breakfast onboard the Mövenpick MS Darakum Nile Cruise, meet your Egyptologist guide that will accompany you through the Luxor West Bank. Explore the Valley of the Kings, where kings of the New Kingdom built their tombs far from tomb robbers to ensure their resurrection in the afterlife. You will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which stands at 97 feet tall at El Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon, which is included with the massive sculptures of King Amenophis III. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch aboard the Nile Cruise prior to cruising to Edfu.

Enjoy a good breakfast, and then your expert tour to the temple of Horus at Edfu, which holds ALL the architectural attributes that distinguish an ancient Egyptian temple, followed by a transfer back to the cruise boat to sail south, reaching the town of Kom Ombo late at night, where an excellent lunch will be prepared.

Upon reaching Kom Ombo, you will visit the Kom Ombo temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, after which the cruiser heads down to Aswan. Have some much-deserved rest and enjoy a wonderful dinner on the deck of the ship while being entertained by musicians and other forms of entertainment. Spend the night in the lovely city of Aswan.

Return to the Nile cruise boat for lunch; the rest of the day is free in Aswan. Enjoy a glorious candlelit dinner on board the cruise ship with a special Nubian performance in the evening, with a night in Aswan.
