Welcome to Egypt! Join us for the ultimate Nile cruise experience. Your adventure begins as we embark on Royal La Terrasse. Enjoy a welcome drink before we head out to explore Luxor's east bank tour.

After a short ride, you will reach the Karnak temple complex. This temple is considered one of the most important monuments of Ancient Egypt. Its main building is surrounded by a large enclosure wall that was used for religious festivals. You can visit the Hypostyle Hall which consists of 134 massive columns carved with scenes from daily life, as well as reliefs depicting King Thutmosis III’s military campaigns against Syria and Nubia.

After that, you will take a boat ride to visit Luxor Temple which was built during the reign of Amenhotep III and dedicated to the god Amun Re, Mut, and Khonsu gods. It consists of two main temples; one dedicated to Amun-Re and the other dedicated to Mut-Thekhu goddesses. In addition to these two temples, there are also other buildings inside the complex such as Colonnade Hall and Small Temple of Hathor located on the north side of Amenhotep III Temple.

In the end, you will return back to your cruise and overnight on board.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Today is your second day on board Royal La Terrasse Nile Cruise, and a full day of activities awaits you.

You'll start the day with breakfast and then head to Luxor west bank tour for a morning excursion to visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut an ancient Egyptian temple built during the 18th Dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, who served as regent to her stepson Thutmose III. The temple was constructed to celebrate and honor Amun, who had favored Hatshepsut and assisted her in becoming pharaoh, by providing her with a divine father figure: Amun himself.

Your day continues with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where you will see some of the most famous tombs including those of Tutankhamun and Ramses III.  At the end of the tour, you will visit colossi Memnon, two giant stone statues of Amenhotep III that were moved to their current location in the 19th century CE.

After lunch at The Nile Restaurant, you will continue your excursion with a trip to Esna. Overnight on board.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We'll spend some time exploring the ancient city of Edfu and Kom Ombo. While here, you'll have the opportunity to see two of the most important temples in Egypt: the Temple of Horus and the Temple of Sobek.

Your day begins with a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. You will find some of the finest examples of Egyptian art and architecture. The temple was built by Pharaoh Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285–246 BCE) and dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of sky and kingship. Next, it's off to Kom Ombo, where you'll learn about the importance of this site in relation to the unification of Egypt under King Ramses II (1279–1213 BCE).

Finally, you'll make your way back down the Nile for a nighttime sail to Aswan, where your journey ends in style!

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today, we'll have a full day of sightseeing in Aswan. You'll visit the Aswan High Dam, which holds back 90% of Lake Nasser's water. You'll get a chance to see how the dam was built and learn about its history. Take a photo of yourself standing on the dam and watch the world's longest river flowing under it.

Then you will see the colossal granite rock-cut Temple of Philae, and view the imposing Temple of Isis—one of only two existing temples still standing on the island of Philae—and the Unfinished Obelisk, which was started by Ramses II but never completed due to his death.

Afterward, enjoy free time at leisure. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board Royal La Terrasse Nile Cruise before an overnight stay in Aswan.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Your 5-day Nile trip from Luxor to Aswan, unfortunately, ends on day 5, but not before enjoying another delicious breakfast on board. After breakfast it will be time to leave and one of our tour guides will take you to the airport or Aswan station, where everyone will say goodbye.
