When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, a tour leader from Cairo Top Tours will be waiting to greet you. They will then transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable, private air-conditioned vehicle.

Once you reach the hotel, you'll be served a welcome drink while our representative helps you check in smoothly. You'll need to review the itinerary details closely to confirm the pickup and drop-off times.

You'll be spending the night at a hotel in Cairo.

The day will begin with an introduction from a licensed Egyptologist guide. You'll then visit the Valley Temple, the Great Sphinx, the Pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, and the Great Pyramid of Cheops. You'll have the opportunity to take photos and enjoy a 15-minute camel ride at the Giza Plateau, after taking in a panoramic view of the Pyramids.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll embark on the Cairo day tour. Following a delicious lunch, your guide will take you to explore the Step Pyramid Complex at Saqqara. This complex features the first pyramid built entirely of stone - the Djoser Pyramid. You'll also visit the Pyramid of Teti, which has remarkable interior decorations, and the tombs of the nobles, where you can see vivid depictions of ancient Egyptian life.

Next, you'll be transferred to the ancient capital of Memphis, located about 30 minutes south of Giza. This site is rich with ruins from Egypt's past.

You'll then be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo, where you'll spend the night.

An optional sound and light show at the Giza Pyramids is available upon request.

On the third day, you'll be driven to the airport early in the morning to board a domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you'll be welcomed and then transferred to board the luxurious 5-star Steinberger MS Minerva Nile cruise ship.

In the afternoon, you'll explore the Luxor East Bank, visiting the magnificent Karnak Temple and the nearby Luxor Temple, both of which showcase the glorious history of ancient Egypt.

After the day's activities, you'll return to the cruise ship for dinner and afternoon tea. You'll spend the night aboard the Nile cruise.

The day will include three meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

After breakfast, you'll head to the Luxor West Bank for your next set of tour activities. You'll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and its mortuary temple, as well as the colossal statues of the Colossi of Memnon.

As the cruise ship sails to Edfu, you'll enjoy lunch and afternoon tea on board.

A delectable dinner will also be served on the ship.

You'll spend the night on board the cruise in Edfu.

After having breakfast on board the cruise ship, you'll visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is considered one of the most spectacular in Egypt and dates back to the Ptolemaic era.

Following the visit to Edfu, you'll return to the ship for lunch.

The cruise will then proceed to Kom Ombo, where you'll explore the combined temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris.

 


 

After breakfast on the cruise, your exploration of Aswan will begin. You’ll visit the High Dam, marvel at the colossal Unfinished Obelisk, and tour the majestic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Enjoy lunch and dinner on board as you relax and spend the night in Aswan.

 
 

On this day, you'll be returning to Cairo. After breakfast on the cruise ship, you'll disembark the Steinberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise in Aswan and have some free time in Aswan.

You'll then be transferred to Aswan International Airport to catch your local flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, a member of the tour staff will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in Cairo.

You'll spend the night at your hotel in Cairo.

Your day begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s most extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts, including the magnificent treasures of Tutankhamun. Next, explore the Citadel of Saladin and the Mohamed Ali Mosque, which provides breathtaking views of Cairo's historic mosques and minarets.

Continue your Cairo exploration with a tour of Coptic Cairo. Discover the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church with its dramatic architecture, and the Church of St. Sergius, known for its rich history as the Cavern Church.

Also, visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, reputed to be the site where Moses was found by Pharaoh’s daughter, showcasing Cairo’s diverse religious heritage.

The day will be spent exploring the second-largest and one of the most famous cities in Egypt - Alexandria. This city is rich with Roman ruins, the ancient Library of Alexandria, and the iconic Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Some of the key sites you'll visit include Pompey's Pillar, which is made of rare pink granite found only in this city, and the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress that played a crucial role in safeguarding the nation and the Mediterranean coastline.

You'll also explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a multi-level underground necropolis from the Roman period that provides a fascinating glimpse into the past.

Another highlight will be the Bibliotheca of Alexandria, the renowned ancient library and educational hub. You'll also see statues commemorating the unknown soldier and Alexander the Great.

As you drive down Cornish Avenue, you'll cross the Stanly Bridge and take in the stunning views of the city below.

After the day's exploration, you'll return to Cairo and spend the night at your hotel.

Winter time in Egypt, from October to April, is the ideal time to visit. The weather is pleasant and temperate, however it can be chilly in the evenings.
