Itinerary

You will arrive, meet and assist our representative of the Cairo top tours at Cairo International Airport. Then, you will be transferred to the Coptic and Islamic Cairo tour. Visit the Citadel of Saladin which during many centuries was the center of the Egyptian government. Upon arrival, the first thing you will see is the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali, which is considered as a unique reflection of the Ottoman architecture in Egypt, and you will also enjoy the Islamic Cairo trips with its numerous mosques and towers of sky-high reaching, magnificent colorful domes that are hundreds of years old, some even over a thousand years old.

The tour of Coptic Cairo will led you to the Roman fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, which is also known as the suspended church since it was built above the towers of the fortress. Then, you will visit the church of St Sergius, which was constructed above the crypt in which the holy family stayed for three months and the spring from which they got their water, supplies then we will go to Ben Ezra Synagogue which is, according to tradition, built on the spot where the basket of baby Moses was found.

We will stop for a delicious lunch, and then we will continue our walking tour in Cairo, to Khan El Khalili, the heart of Islamic Medieval Cairo, where we will explore the walls and gates of medieval Cairo and the old streets dating back to the 10th century.

Our representative will drive you back to your hotel and overnight stay in Cairo.

Breakfast at the hotel then you will be transferred to Luxor by flight where your Luxor day tour to the East and the West Bank will be started by Cairo Top Tours. Your first stop will be The Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic statues made for King Amenhotep III, and the temple of El Deir El Bahri which was intended to be a mortuary temple for Queen Hatshepsut, It is carved into a mountain with the perfection of ancient Egyptian architecture. The next stop will be The Valley of the Kings where this valley's rock-cut tombs were designated for the pharaohs and mighty nobles of the New Kingdom only. The kings burial grounds were secured by the cliffs with more than 62 tombs of the rulers of Egypt.

The tomb of the golden Pharoah was unearthed by Howard Carter and holds the coveted mask of king Tutankhamun and many other extraordinary treasuries which will leave you awed at the very first glimpse.

Next up you will go to the Temple of Medinet Habu, the Temple with the richest colors in Egypt which was constructed by the Pharaoh Ramses III.

When your tour guide is done showing you around, he/she will take you to start your Luxor east bank tours after having had lunch at a good local restaurant and then go to see The Complex of Karnak Temples which is the largest man-made religious complex in the world, It has the biggest hypostyle hall (Pillared hall built by King Ramses II). After that you will visit the magnificent Luxor Temple. This temple is a most exquisite monument in the very heart of the modern town. Finally, you will be driven to your hotel at any place in Luxor.

The end of our Luxor day tours and excursions.

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy an amazing hot-air balloon ride in Luxor very early in the morning. A hot air balloon ride is available every day but confirmation in advance is still strongly recommended. The ride in the balloon lasts from 45 minutes to 1 hour before landing.

When you have concluded this interesting Luxor tour, you will return to Cairo by plane.

Following breakfast, an air-conditioned vehicle designed for your utmost comfort with a tour guide will take you from Cairo to the marvelous Alexandria day trip. The journey will last around 2.5 hours, with a stop for refreshments on the way. Your first stop after reaching the city will be the Pompey Pillar, a Roman temple's (also known as Serapeum) only remaining pillar. Then you will be led to the catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, discovered not long after the start of the 20th century and now regarded as one of the largest Roman burial grounds. Later you will be taken along the shore to the citadel of Qaitbay which was built where the ancient Pharos lighthouse used to stand.

You cannot visit Alexandria without an indulging experience of seafood! Feast on your lunch made of the freshest ingredients accompanied by a visit to Abu al-abbas al-Mursi mosque.

Ultimately, you will receive a transfer back to your Cairo hotel.

Your professional guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the start of the day tour filled with great experiences. Among the main attractions are entering the three huge pyramids Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which are the biggest pyramids globally. Cheops remains the biggest building ever made by human being. After this, you will be guided to the Valley Temple of king Chephren who is the one that the Sphinx was carved from the rock and you will be able to see the Sphinx closely, a huge cemetery protected by the myth of the lion body with the king Chephren's face.

Next, you will be taken to Saqqara, which is the biggest graveyard in formation and the most known place for visiting the Step Pyramid Complex. King's Djoser, the third dynasty, is credited with having built this tomb in the first place in human history. The tour includes going into the pyramid of Teti or the pyramid of the king of Unas, which have the most wonderful burial chambers in all pyramids to be seen today. You will also tour one of the Mastaba Tombs of the Nobles at Sakkara; the walls and corridors of the tombs depict all the daily life scenes of ancient Egypt with all its activities beautifully carved on the walls and corridors.

We will take a pause for lunch and then you will be transferred to the Mit-Rahina's modern village to see the Memphis open-air museum. One of the displayed items is the alabaster sphinx, and its creator is still a mystery. Additionally, there are displays and sarcophagi that were found in Mit-Rahina (the present-day village where Memphis existed) including the giant laying of Ramses II.
