Welcome to Egypt! We're so excited to have you here. We want your experience to be as amazing as possible, so we've put together the perfect itinerary for your trip.

When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, you'll be met by an Egyptian tour guide who will take you to your hotel and help answer any questions you might have about your surroundings. After settling in, it's time for dinner! You'll enjoy a delicious meal at one of our favorite local restaurants. After dinner, you're free to explore the city or relax at the hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

This morning after breakfast, get ready for one of the most iconic sights in all of Egypt: the Pyramids of Giza—the only remaining wonder of the ancient world still standing today—, where we can see how they were built and also visit their tombs. Then head to the Egyptian Museum, which contains many different artifacts from ancient Egypt, for a guided tour through its many exhibits to learn about mummies and hieroglyphics as well as other aspects of Egyptian culture that have lasted through time.

In our opinion, wearing cotton and white clothes will be suitable for this tour to avoid the heat of the sun during the season of summer, specifically in the Giza necropolis.

Afterward, we'll take you out for lunch at one of our favorite local spots! Then it's back home for some rest before dinner and the rest of the day is free for you to do whatever activities you wish such as shopping or relaxing at the hotel swimming pool.

Overnight in Cairo.

Today we'll fly from Cairo to Luxor—the ancient city where King Tutankhamun was buried in his magnificent tomb! Take an Egyptian history tour of Luxor and Karnak temples on the West Bank of the Nile River. You'll see your favorite sights in an entirely new light as you learn about the cultures that built them thousands of years ago.

The tour begins with a visit to Karnak temple, which was once one of the largest religious structures in the world. Built by pharaohs to honor their gods and goddesses, it contains hundreds of rooms with intricate hieroglyphics depicting their lives. It's also home to some of Egypt's most stunning statues and sculptures—including those of Ramses II.

Next, you'll head to Luxor temple, just upriver from Karnak. This site includes some of Egypt's most famous pieces: Amenhotep III's Colossi, which were once part of his funerary temple; Ramses II's Great Hypostyle Hall, which has more than 1,000 columns; and King Tutankhamun's tomb.

Time to visit the West Bank of Luxor. It's home to the Valley of the Kings, where you can visit the tombs of Ancient Egypt's most famous kings, queens, and nobles. If that's not enough for you, you'll also find the Temple of Hatshepsut, Deir el-Bahri (the Mortuary Temple of Mentuhotep II), and Colossi of Memnon (two huge statues of King Amenhotep III).

We'll take you to all these places and more on our Luxor East and West Tour!

The day of your departure will soon be here, and you'll be all set to travel back to Cairo International Airport. Check in for your flight, and then head out for a final look at the sights of Luxor. Your plane will soon take off from Luxor West Airport and carry you safely home.

(If you have time before you check into your flight, you can do one last sightseeing tour around Luxor.)

We are sure that these 4 days 3 nights Cairo and Luxor budget tour itinerary make your trip a memorable one.

A visit to the West Bank of Luxor is a tour of history, culture, and architecture. The temples of Karnak and Luxor are among the oldest structures in Egypt.

The ruins of the Luxor temple date back to 1318 BC and were dedicated to Amun, who was the supreme god in ancient Egyptian religion. Karnak temple was built during the reign of Ramses II (1279-1213 BC) and was dedicated to Amon-Re, who was the chief deity at Thebes (Luxor).

The two temples are connected by a raised causeway that crosses what once was Lake Moeris. Both were once surrounded by massive walls and towers, but these have been replaced by modern buildings that now surround them on all sides. The only remaining structure from ancient times is the Colossi of Memnon, which stands at each end of the causeway leading into Karnak temple from Luxor temple.
