Wake up and have a full breakfast in your Cairo hotel and prepare to have a full day of luxury and exploration.

These historic buildings including the Great Pyramid of Cheops that is among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World are bound to amaze you. Great Sphinx should not be omitted: this is a huge statue of a pharaoh whose head was that of a lion and the body of a lion. Visit the Valley Temple of Chephren that was part of the mummifying process of the king.
Lunch in one of the local restaurants and then visit the Egyptian Museum, located on Tahrir Square. The museum also possesses an incomparable number of Egyptian antiquities such as the entire treasures of the boy king, Tutankhamun.
Keep exploring in Coptic Cairo where you will gain access to Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius (the holy family church) and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. These historical places are a rich exploration into the Christian history of Cairo.
Then go to Islamic Cairo whereby you will be able to visit the most ancient market in the world, the Khan El Khalili bazaar. Have a little shopping and maybe a cup of tea at a local cafeteria, and imbibe the disposition of this old quarter.
You will be taken to the Giza train station after daylong sightseeing and then your overnight journey to Luxor will be done. Take dinner and breakfast in your own compartment.
