In order to keep pace with the development of tourism activities to attract new categories of tourists, a number of Egyptian investors in Hurghada, in cooperation with Hurghada governorate and a number of ministries, designed an integrated scientific research center within the city, named “Grand Aquarium”, which is one of the best tourist attraction, educational, entertainment and educational centers, for all family members of different age groups.

Experts in different scientific fields were used to contribute to the design of the aquarium in an appropriate manner that creates an environment conducive to the life of different organisms with the diversity of their environment and life conditions, as the project used doctors, researchers and specialists from England, Germany, France, Malaysia, China, Greece and Mexico, in addition to Egyptian engineers and technicians, to design the project in a manner appropriate to the nature of the environment in the Red Sea region.
As you wander through the rainforest, you can enjoy the heavy rains, forked branches and tangled trees, while listening to the sounds of nature and its rare birds.


Open forest
As for the Open Forest... Among the jungles and jungles of “Grand Aquarium” you move among the free animals that their trainers were able to tame them so that they do not attack humans, there are “ostriches, bushbirds, swans, Egyptian geese, monkeys, goats, anacondas, huge snakes, as well as iguanas, Nile crocodiles, Sudanese, African, Greek and other turtles.”
