The construction of the hotel was completed in 1899 AD and was officially opened to guests in that year, and at the beginning it accommodated about 60 guests, and after the increase in demand for the hotel and the increase in tourist traffic to Aswan, it was expanded in 1902 AD, and the hotel became famous worldwide at that time, especially those coming to visit Egypt and Aswan, and celebrities and important figures from all over the world began to come to it, and many means of entertainment and entertainment were attached to the hotel.
