Your tour guide will take you to Old Cairo to see the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali which face the religious complex of Sultan Hassan and the mosque of El Refaii. After a lunch break at the restaurant, you will visit the area now known as Old Cairo or Complex of Religions, where you will see the Coptic Church and the Coptic Museum, as well as the St. Sergius Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Next to the two places of worship mentioned is the Amr Ibn El-As Mosque in the Coptic Quarter. It is the oldest mosque in Egypt and Africa, and its modest architecture serves as a model for the structures of later eras.
The second to last stop on your two-day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo is the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, with its winding streets and small cafes.
The transfer bus will take you back to Cairo airport, and upon arrival in Sharm El Sheikh, you will be met by our transportation service to take you back to your accommodation in Sharm El Sheikh.
