The Mehara Beach Hotels and Resort have developed a snorkelling day trip to Mahmya Island from Makadi Bay. Mahmya Island is one of the best stunning sites in the Red Sea where visitors enjoy snorkeling. Located a short distance away from Makadi Bay by boat, this little island has a lot to offer with regards to snorkelling, as it is home to numerous corals and sunken ships that surround the island. A tour to Makadi Bay does not have to be a strenuous experience; that is why our Makadi Bay day tours have been arranged to be as comfortable as you would want. We’ll come and get you from your hotel, which is Makadi Bay, then take you to the boat; we take care of everything for you. In case you want to snorkel, the best equipment can be obtained on hire from a local shop once you are wearing your bathing costumes.
