After exploring Khan El Khalili Bazaar, we will visit Mohamed Ali Mosque. This is one of three mosques in Cairo that are open for visitors; it was built between 1820 and 1848 by Khedive Ismail Pasha (the ruler of Egypt at that time). It is considered one of the largest mosques in the world with a capacity of 25000 people; its minaret stands 150 feet high.
