First stop: The High Dam
Among the greatest infrastructure projects built in the country is the Aswan High Dam. It also controls the Nile River levels, facilitates irrigation, produces power, and prevents overflow from the river — a true highlight of most Aswan day trips.
The second place that we will visit is the Unfinished Obelisk
In addition, we will also go to The Unfinished Obelisk, which is within the same granite quarry. An obelisk consists of a slab of stone that has not yet broken to detach it from the mountain rock, and the workers' tribe could not continue with the overzealous cutting of the obelisk. This all-encompassing site also helps in appreciating how the ancient Egyptians shaped massive rocks, a must-see during any Aswan private tour or Egypt day tours.
The final stop is Philae Temple
The last place we will go to is the astonishing Philae Temple, which is located on an island in the River Nile. This temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, has a fascinating background story, which your guide will narrate, about the unfortunate incidents that led to the separation of her from her son Osiris and her love, Isis, and their likenesses that are in this temple.
After a long, full day of visits to countless places of interest, lunch shall be enjoyed by you all, after which you will retire back to your respective lodgings for a rest before the next day’s adventure in your Aswan day tour.
