Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your designated tour leader from Cairo Top Tours will meet and assist you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in. The itinerary for your 5-Day Cairo Short Break will be reviewed to confirm all pick-up times and any optional tours requested from Cairo. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Start your day with a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel before meeting your certified tour guide to commence your 5-day Cairo exploration with a visit to the Saqqara Necropolis. This ancient burial ground, dating back to the Old Kingdom, features the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser, designed by the renowned architect Imhotep. Explore the tombs of nobles and enter the Pyramid of King Teti, while your guide simplifies the history of Egypt and explains the basics of ancient Egyptian religion.

Next, journey to the ancient city of Memphis to uncover artifacts spanning various periods of pharaonic history, including the iconic alabaster sphinx and the colossal statue of King Ramses II.

Continue to the Pyramids of Giza for a fascinating tour. Explore the three pyramids built by the 4th dynasty kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Marvel at the grandeur of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, once the tallest structure in the world for over 4,500 years. Take in panoramic views of the pyramids from the high plateau and opt for a one-hour camel ride while capturing stunning photos of the landscape.

Visit the Great Sphinx of Chephren, a mythical creature with a lion's body and a human head, before entering the Valley Temple to learn about the ancient mummification process from your Egyptologist guide.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a high-quality restaurant overlooking the pyramids and the Sphinx.

After completing your tours in Cairo, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to the world's largest collection of Egyptian artifacts and sculptures. Explore the Treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun, including the 1st royal treasure discovered intact in Luxor.

Next, visit the historic churches of Old Cairo, starting with the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, suspended above two towers of the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, dating back to the 1st century. Then, explore the Church of St. Sergius, where the Holy Family is said to have stayed during their journey in Egypt. Conclude your religious exploration with a visit to the oldest synagogue in Old Cairo, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was originally a Christian church.

Enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on a Cairo shopping tour at the renowned Khan El-Khalili market. Relax at a local café with a refreshing mint tea or special fresh mango juice, while observing the vibrant street life and local sellers in the Al Hussein area. Your tour guide will highlight interesting buildings from early Islamic Cairo along Al-Moez Street.

After completing your excursions in Cairo, return to the hotel.

Treat yourself to a delightful seafood lunch at an upscale restaurant with a view of the sea.
