You will start off your journey by arriving in Cairo, where you will be greeted by our experienced tour guide who will meet you at the airport and will then take you to the Nile cruise boat that will be your home for the rest nights. Once you're settled in, enjoy some free time to explore Cairo on your own before a welcome dinner hosted by the ship’s crew!

Meals Included: Dinner

Today we have a full-day tour, visiting the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum.

First, we'll visit one of the most famous sites in Egypt: the Giza Pyramids. Built by the pharaohs more than 5,000 years ago, these pyramids are a symbol of ancient Egypt's wealth and power as the ancient Egyptians believed that these pyramid structures were houses for their gods, which they called "ka". The pharaoh was referred to as "the divine king" who was responsible for providing his people with protection

You'll also be able to visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can spend as much time as you like exploring over 7,000 years of history. And there you can see one of the oldest human-made objects ever discovered—King Tutankhamun's golden mask—as well as other treasures from Egypt's long history.

Then, we'll head back to our ship for lunch before embarking on an afternoon excursion along the Nile River.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today we're going to spend the day cruising along the Nile River. We'll be stopping at various points along the way, including Beni Suif, a beautiful village built on a plateau overlooking the river, with stunning views that will take your breath away. It also has some of Egypt's best museums, including one dedicated entirely to Egyptian art!

You'll have the opportunity to see some of Egypt's most beautiful sites such as the Tomb of Rahotep and Nofret.

The tomb of Rahotep and Nofret is famous for the discovery of the beautiful dyad statue of Rahotep and his wife Nofret which was hidden there in the serdab of this tomb, before transferring them to be displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Then head back onto the ship for lunch at noon and then rest up for our evening activities.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today, we'll be heading out of Cairo for our excursion to the Fayoum. We'll begin at the Dahshour Pyramids, an Ancient Egyptian necropolis that dates back to the Old Kingdom. We'll see three pyramids including the Red Pyramid, which is one of the oldest and best-preserved.

We'll also visit Maydom, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once home to many thousands of people and has been around since the Middle Kingdom. Today it's a small village that's home to many artists, musicians, and writers.

After our time in Fayoum, we'll return to our cruise vessel and set sail for Minya!

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Our day 5 of the MS Jaz Royale Long Nile Cruise Tour from Cairo to Aswan will be full of fun and excitement. We will be sailing all day to reach Minya city, which is located in Middle Egypt, about 360 km south of Cairo. It is known for the Coptic Christian community there and its churches, monasteries, and convents.

If you love history, this is your chance to visit some of Egypt’s most iconic archaeological sites.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

This morning we will have a guided tour of the three rock tombs at Beni Hassan in the Silsila Valley where you can see some of the best-preserved Egyptian paintings, the tombs of Baqet III, Khety, Amenemhet, and Khnumhotep II. These tombs were originally built for wealthy Egyptians between 2200 BC and 1700 BC, and are among the best examples of Egyptian art from this period.

In the evening, enjoy a fun folkloric show before spending another relaxing night in Minya on the Nile.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today you will wake up in luxurious accommodations on board MS Jaz Royale. After breakfast, explore Tel El Amarna, a city built by Akhenaten, who was one of the most important pharaohs in ancient Egypt. He ruled for about 17 years during the 18th dynasty. The city has been excavated by archaeologist Barry Kemp, who believes that this site was an early attempt at monotheism and he thinks it was abandoned because it wasn't successful.  After this excursion, you'll travel to the Tuna El Gabal, where you can enjoy all-inclusive lunch served on board while enjoying life-changing views of the Nile River.

After Lunch, we will continue on our cruise to Tuna el-Gabal (Tuna's Mountain), an island located just north of Aswan. On this island are several temples that date back thousands of years ago—the oldest being dedicated to the god Khnum—and there is also a small museum where you can learn more about these sites' history and significance.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today is a full day of sailing on the Nile River, from Assuit to Sohag. Your tour guide will take you on a guided tour of the city, which is home to one of the largest Coptic Christian communities in Egypt. The entire trip will take you through a wide variety of landscapes, from desert to lush greenery, while you relax in our comfortable lounges and enjoy the views.

After exploring Sohag, you can spend some time relaxing or swimming at a private beach, depending on your preference.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today, you'll have the chance to visit some of Egypt's most beautiful temples on a full-day trip to El Balyana. You'll first visit Denderah Temple, which was constructed in the Ptolemaic era and is famous for its reliefs of Isis and Hathor. Next, you'll stop at Abydos Temple, which has been in use since Ancient Egypt and is dedicated to the god Osiris. You'll also have time to explore the surrounding area on foot or by bicycle.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll travel to Qena to spend the night onboard.
