The temple was founded in 4400 BC and was built from sandstone blocks brought from southwest Egypt. You will then visit the Karnak temple, featuring a vast mix of decayed temples and chapels, as well as pylons and other buildings.
The breakfast meal today will be also available on the MS Jaz Jubilee Nile cruise board. You will then have the opportunity to cross to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Colossi of Memnon. The colossi are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have been standing in this necropolis for the past 3400 years.
They are located across the Nile River from the modern city of Luxor. Afterward, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. There, you will be able to visit Hatshepsut temple which is located under the cliffs on the west bank of the Nile. Additionally, the temple is situated close to the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Dinner and overnight accommodations will also be provided on the cruise.

In fact, lunch will be served on board the cruise as well. Later in the afternoon, we will sail on the Nile by traditional Nile boat along the shores of Elephantine. In fact, we will visit the Philae temple there. The temple is located at Philae Island which was a rocky island in the middle of the Nile river.
The island known as Apo in Hieroglyphic, meaning Ivory, was an important center of trade due to its abundance of ivory. The Ancient Egyptians built a beautiful temple on the island in honor of the goddess Isis. However, the temple became submerged after the construction of the first dam in 1906. You will return to the Nile cruise board for dinner and spend the night.
