Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will greet you and transport you to your hotel for check-in. Make the most of your first morning in Cairo with a guided tour of the Giza Necropolis. Your certified English-speaking guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and take you on a fascinating journey to view the awe-inspiring 4500-year-old pyramids of the Pharaohs.

The Great Pyramid of Cheops, standing at 146 metres and constructed from over 2.3 million limestone blocks, showcases the remarkable engineering and construction skills of the ancient Egyptians, reflecting their advanced level of sophistication.

Your tour will also include the impressive pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, with an optional camel ride around the Giza Pyramids. Your guide will ensure you capture some stunning views and unforgettable memories.

Next, you'll visit the Valley Temple associated with the pyramid of King Chephren. We’ll then proceed to Cairo's downtown El Tahrir Square for a tour of the Egyptian Museum. This nearly two-hour tour will take you through the two-story museum, featuring a golden collection of King Tutankhamun and the funerary artifacts of Yuya and Tuya, the grandparents of King Akhenaten.

After a delightful lunch at a top restaurant, you'll continue your sightseeing with a Coptic Cairo tour. After breakfast, you'll set off for an afternoon excursion to Alexandria from Cairo as part of our luxury Egypt tours. You'll be transferred to Alexandria by an air-conditioned vehicle, with the journey taking approximately three hours, including a stop for a break.

Upon arriving in Alexandria, often referred to as the 'Bride of the Mediterranean,' we'll start our tour at Pompey's Pillar, a monument commemorating the Roman Emperor Diocletian's victory. Next, we'll visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the largest and most significant Roman burial sites, discovered only a few decades ago.

Following this, we'll drive along the seaside to the Citadel of Qaitbay, located on the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse of Alexandria. This impressive citadel sits at the end of a narrow strip of land extending into the Eastern Port, offering splendid views.

We'll also stop by the modern Library of Alexandria, renowned as one of the oldest and most prestigious centres for scientific research.

Enjoy a delightful seafood lunch at a restaurant overlooking the harbour, the perfect way to relax after your journey. Finally, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

You will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you'll be greeted by your tour guide who will escort you to your 5-star Nile cruise boat. After boarding and enjoying lunch on the cruise, you'll be taken to visit one of Egypt’s most significant modern engineering feats, the Aswan High Dam. Completed in the 1960s, this dam was crucial in controlling the annual floods that once threatened Egypt.

Next, you'll have the opportunity to explore the stunning Philae Temple, the impressive granite quarries where ancient pharaohs sourced materials, and other notable religious sites in the area. This promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.

In the evening, you'll cruise the Nile, where you can enjoy a show and dinner while sailing towards Kom Ombo.

Overnight in Aswan

After breakfast, you'll head out to explore the unique Kom Ombo temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Following your visit, the Nile cruise ship will continue its journey to Edfu. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board as you sail, and spend the night on the cruise.

After breakfast aboard the Nile cruise, you’ll meet your licensed Egyptologist for a tour of the Temple of Edfu. This remarkable structure, dedicated to Horus, showcases some of the finest architecture from the Ptolemaic period.

Following your exploration of the temple, you'll return to the cruise ship, which will set sail for Luxor, the final city on your Nile cruise tour. Enjoy lunch on board, and afternoon tea will also be served.

In the evening, a delicious dinner will be provided, followed by a lively Galabya party.

Overnight in Luxor

On the final day of your Egyptian adventure, enjoy breakfast on the cruise ship before disembarking to start your Luxor day tours. Your exploration of Luxor’s West Bank will include a visit to the Valley of the Kings.

Be sure to see the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, and the impressive Luxor Temple, which is linked by the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Then, continue to Karnak Temple, a major religious centre from the New Kingdom of Egypt.

We’ll arrange your transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will meet you and assist with your hotel check-in for the night.
