Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will greet you. You'll be whisked away to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned car. At the hotel, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink while our staff assists with a smooth check-in. You'll review your itinerary and confirm pick-up and drop-off times for a seamless experience.

Overnight in Cairo.

On the second day of your trip, start with a briefing from our expert Egyptologist. You’ll then head to Giza to explore iconic sites such as the Valley Temple, the Great Sphinx, and the pyramids of Chephren, Mycerinus, and Cheops. Enjoy a sweeping panoramic view of the Giza Plateau and take a memorable 15-minute camel ride at the pyramids. This experience follows breakfast at your hotel.

After a delightful lunch, your guide will take you to Saqqara to discover the Step Pyramid Complex, known for its pioneering stone construction. Explore the Djoser Pyramid, the oldest pyramid built entirely of stone, and visit the Pyramid of Teti, renowned for its stunning interior. Experience ancient Egyptian daily life through the vividly decorated tombs of the nobles.

The next stop is Memphis, the ancient capital of the pharaohs, located about thirty minutes south of Giza in the modern village of Mit Rahina. Marvel at the remnants of this historic city.

Return to your Cairo hotel for the evening. An optional sound and light show at Giza is available upon request.

On the third day of your trip, you'll be transported to the airport for a morning flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and escorted to the elegant 5-star Steinberger MS Minerva Nile cruise.

In the afternoon, embark on a tour of Luxor's East Bank. Explore the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple and the nearby Luxor Temple, both showcasing the grandeur of ancient Egyptian history.

After your afternoon adventure, return to the cruise ship for dinner and relax with afternoon tea. You'll spend the night on board.

After having a delicious breakfast, we’ll head to Luxor’s West Bank for a day of exploration. Visit the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut and its surrounding mortuary complex, as well as the colossal statues of the Colossi of Memnon, which will offer an unforgettable glimpse into ancient history.

As we navigate through the Esna lock towards Edfu, enjoy a delicious lunch and afternoon tea on board.

Dinner will be served on the cruise, where you'll spend the night in Edfu.

Start your day with breakfast on board, then head to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned for its impressive Ptolemaic architecture and grandeur.

After lunch aboard the ship, we will continue our journey to Kom Ombo. Here, we'll visit the unique double temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, known for its intriguing design and historical significance.

After having breakfast on board the cruise ship, your Aswan day tours will commence. You'll visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the grand Philae Temple, which was the central location for the worship of the goddess Isis in ancient Egypt.

Following the day's excursions, you'll return to the cruise ship for lunch and dinner. You'll spend the night on the ship in Aswan.

After breakfast, you'll disembark from the Steinberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise and enjoy some free time in Aswan. We’ll arrange your flight back to Cairo, and upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Cairo hotel.

You'll spend the night in Cairo.

The day will start with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the world's largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian artifacts, including the intact treasures of Tutankhamun.

Next, you'll visit the Citadel of Saladin, featuring the impressive Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which offers stunning panoramic views of the historic mosques, minarets, and domes of Islamic Cairo.

You'll then explore the Coptic area of Cairo, visiting the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church suspended over the old towers, and the Church of St. Sergius, also known as the Cavern Church or the Holy Family Church.

During the Coptic Cairo tour, you'll also visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, believed to be the site where the Pharaoh's daughter found Moses in a basket in the Nile. This ancient synagogue is one of the oldest in the city and reflects the city's fascinating history.

An optional tour of the Sound and Light show in Giza is available.

Alexandria, Egypt’s vibrant second-largest city, boasts a rich history and stunning Roman remnants. Begin your day exploring the ancient Pompey’s Pillar, a striking pink granite monument, and immerse yourself in the city's lively ambience.

Next, visit the Qaitbay Citadel, a historic 15th-century fortress that once protected the Mediterranean coast. Discover the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an intriguing three-level burial site from the Roman era, offering a glimpse into ancient practices.

The renowned Bibliotheca of Alexandria, a major ancient library and centre of learning, awaits your visit. You’ll also see notable landmarks such as the statue of Alexander the Great and the Alexandria statue honouring the unknown soldier.

Stroll along Cornish Avenue and cross the Stanly Bridge, which provides stunning views of modern Alexandria. After a full day of exploration, return to Cairo for the night.

Winter time in Egypt, from October to April, is the ideal time to visit. The weather is pleasant and temperate, however it can be chilly in the evenings. If you want to travel between December and January, be prepared for huge crowds of tourists as these are the busiest months. March to May are the ideal months to visit the beaches, when you don't have to deal with the heavy flow of tourists during the summer. It is warm at this time of the year and the tourist sites are not as crowded.
