We are delighted to offer you a delightful breakfast at your Cairo hotel in the morning. Following breakfast, our representative will meet you to commence your tour of the Giza Pyramids. You will be taken to explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, where you'll have ample time to wander around independently or listen to your guide recount its captivating history.
Adjacent to Khufu's pyramid stands the slightly smaller Pyramid of King Chephren, the son of Cheops. Nearby, atop the high plateau, lies the renowned Sphinx—a majestic statue that you can admire or opt for a camel ride to capture stunning photos (optional).
The Great Sphinx of Giza stands as a grand sentinel of ancient Egypt, while the Valley Temple, situated directly in front of the Sphinx, was primarily used for the ritual known as the "opening of the mouth," crucial for King Chephren's transition into the afterlife, enabling him to eat, drink, and speak.
Afterward, a 35-minute drive will transport you to the open-air museum in the ancient city of Memphis, where you can explore relics and masterpieces from Egypt's oldest capital city. Memphis served as the capital during the Old Kingdom and remained significant through the Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom, and even into the Greco-Roman era.
Next, we'll journey to the Saqqara Necropolis, offering a truly exceptional experience. Our comprehensive tour includes access to the Pyramid of Teti, adorned inside with hieroglyphs and royal cartouches, as well as the tomb of Kagemni—a noble's tomb decorated with vibrant scenes depicting daily life in ancient Egypt.
Upon concluding your tour, we'll transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
