Between October and April, Egypt experiences cool temperatures while still guaranteeing sun. It's the greatest time to explore Cairo's crowded streets and take some of the city's best excursions. The warm, sunny weather is ideal for a camel ride to the pyramids. Tourists can also enjoy a journey along the River Nile aboard a classic felucca wooden sailing boat and marvel at the prominent sites in the city.

Egypt is very famous for its ancient civilization and the monuments of the majestic pharaohs, such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, the GEM (The Grand Egyptian Museum), Sakkara, and Dahshur.

Mainly in tourist destinations and large cities, the US dollar, pound sterling, and euro are accepted. For this reason, in general, you should expect to pay in Egyptian pounds, particularly in remote locations or for trinkets or gratuities. The official currency of Egypt is the pound, often known by its abbreviations EGP, LE, or E£. One thousand millimeters, or 100 piastres, make up each division.

Even though you can't touch the Great Sphinx due to the carefully reserved area surrounding it, you may still approach the monument closely enough to have a good look at its nose and obtain a good picture of it.
