The tour leader will assist you with check-in and ensure that every aspect of your 6-day Cairo and Alexandria honeymoon tour is meticulously arranged, from your accommodation to the smallest details. If you wish to add or modify any additional excursions or activities in Egypt or Cairo, you can simply request assistance from the tour leader.

As part of your itinerary, you may choose to book an optional activity, such as attending the captivating Sound and Light show at the Giza Pyramids, provided there is sufficient time available at the end of the day.

Overnight stay in Cairo

Your Egypt Honeymoon Tour Itinerary commences after enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel. You'll embark on an excursion to visit the impressive pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Following this, you'll move to a panoramic viewpoint to capture unforgettable photos of the Giza Pyramids. There's also an optional opportunity to enjoy a camel ride in the Giza Pyramids area. Next, explore the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the ancient necropolis of the Old Kingdom, and visit the Valley Temple where King Chephren underwent the mummification process.

Afterward, you'll head to Cairo downtown for a tour of the renowned Egyptian Museum. This historic institution, constructed over a century ago, houses one of the largest collections of Egyptian antiquities, including statues of ancient kings and the renowned treasures of King Tutankhamen. An optional ticket is available for visiting the mummy room, which incurs additional charges.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before continuing your excursions in Cairo with a visit to Old Cairo. Begin your exploration of Coptic Cairo by visiting the Hanging Church, dedicated to the Holy Virgin Mary and built on the remains of the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon. You'll also visit the cavern church known as the Church of Abu Serga, and conclude with a visit to one of the oldest Jewish temples in the Middle East, the Synagogue of Ben Ezra.

At the conclusion of your day trip in Cairo, you'll be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a tour to the Pharaonic village where you will experience a recreated ancient Egyptian town. Guided by your tour leader, take a boat ride to witness simulations of daily life from ancient Egypt. Explore depictions of ancient Egyptian religious practices, hunting and food preparation, agriculture, and clothing, offering a fascinating glimpse into Egypt's rich history from 5000 years ago.

Return to the hotel later in the day for overnight accommodation in Cairo.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting your private Egyptologist guide and driver, who will transport you in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria. Known as the bride of the Mediterranean, Alexandria was established by Alexander the Great in 323 B.C.

Experience an incredible day tour from Cairo to Alexandria, starting with a visit to the Qaitbay Fortress, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Next, explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, showcasing a blend of Greco-Roman and Pharaonic artistic styles. Visit Pompey's Pillar, home to a remarkable collection of Greek monuments and once the site of the renowned Serapeum temple.

Continue your tour with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, a beacon of knowledge and a hub for scientific research throughout history. After enjoying a seafood lunch at a local restaurant, you'll return to your hotel in Cairo for overnight accommodation.

Today, our journey begins with a visit to the necropolis at Saqqara, where we'll explore the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser, the second ruler of Egypt's 3rd dynasty. This pyramid is renowned as the first-ever stone structure built in history, designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep.

Next, we'll visit the pyramid of King Teti and have the opportunity to enter one of the adjacent noble tombs, specifically the tomb of Kagemni. Kagemni served as the son-in-law of King Teti and was the vizier of Justice during Egypt's 6th dynasty.

Following our exploration of Saqqara, we'll journey to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt during the Old and Middle Kingdoms. Now an open-air museum, Memphis showcases fascinating artifacts, including the impressive alabaster sphinx and the colossal statue of King Ramses II, a significant ruler of Egypt's New Kingdom's 19th dynasty.

Afterward, we'll dine at a local, high-quality restaurant for lunch before heading to the heart of Cairo. Here, we'll visit Khan El Khalili bazaar, a bustling marketplace where you can shop for souvenirs and enjoy traditional mint tea at a local café. We'll then transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
