After enjoying breakfast, you will embark on one of our captivating Cairo day tours, starting with a visit to the Giza pyramids.
You'll explore the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the smaller Pyramid of Mycerinus, constructed for the burial of King Mycerinus, one of the final rulers of the Fourth Dynasty before his son King Shepseskaf.
Accompanied by an expert Egyptologist, you'll discover the Sphinx and its historical significance. Then, you'll visit the Valley Temple, also known as the mummification temple of King Chephren, an impressive structure constructed from Aswan granite quarries and adorned with white alabaster.
Your tour guide and private driver will then lead you on a fascinating tour of the Egyptian Museum, where you'll marvel at the treasures of Tutankhamun.
We'll pause for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to explore Coptic Cairo, where you'll visit ancient churches and synagogues. Our first stop will be the Hanging Church, situated atop the remains of an ancient Roman fortress known as Babylon. Next, we'll visit the Cavern Church of Abu Serga, a site where the Holy Family is believed to have sought refuge during their journey through Egypt. Lastly, we'll visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish temple in Egypt.
