Enjoy a delightful breakfast at your hotel before meeting your Egyptologist guide to embark on your Cairo day tours. Begin with a fascinating exploration of the Giza Pyramids, renowned as the oldest monuments in the world and considered sacred during ancient Egypt. Your guide will provide insights into ancient Egyptian religion and how it influenced the construction of these incredible monuments dedicated to the gods.

Optional camel rides are available at the Giza Pyramids, offering a unique experience of the Sahara's beauty.

Visit the Valley Temple of Chephren, successor to King Cheops, whose pyramid complex is the most intact among all Egyptian pyramids. Within this complex, marvel at the Great Sphinx, a mythological statue depicting a man-headed lion symbolizing the king's authority and wisdom.

Next, explore Coptic and Islamic Cairo with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval fortress built in the 12th century by Sultan Saladin. Admire its imposing towers and visit the magnificent Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, commissioned to expel the French expedition led by Napoleon Bonaparte.

Proceed to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, constructed atop the remnants of the Roman Fortress of Babylon. This Coptic Orthodox church features a main nave and two side aisles with its original pulpit. Explore the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of Egypt's oldest Jewish temples, and the Church of St. Sergius, also known as the Cavern Church, housing a crypt where Jesus Christ and Mother Mary are believed to have stayed for three months while fleeing King Herod in early Christianity.

After concluding your day tour, return to your hotel for overnight accommodation.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Enjoy your daily buffet breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will then be transferred to Cairo International Airport or your designated drop-off location. If time permits, you can opt for an exciting additional tour to Saqqara Necropolis. There, you'll explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the tombs of nobles, and the ancient city of Memphis, home to numerous statues of King Ramses II and the remarkable alabaster sphinx.

The Step Pyramid of Djoser, constructed between 2737 BC and 2717 BC south of Giza, is the oldest pyramid in Egypt. It served as the burial site of King Djoser and took 20 years to complete. In 1924, a statue of Djoser was discovered intact inside the pyramid by archaeologist James Quibell, despite an attempt in the modern era to damage it during theft. This statue is now housed in the Egyptian Museum.
