Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will be there to greet you with a sign bearing your name. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, you’ll receive assistance with a smooth check-in process.
On your first evening, you have the option to relax at the hotel or book an optional excursion to the Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. The following morning, start your day with breakfast at the hotel before meeting your private Egyptologist from Cairo Top Tours. They will guide you through a fascinating exploration of the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of King Cheops and its successors, Chephren and Mycerinus. Capture memorable photos of these iconic sites and, if you wish, enjoy a camel ride in the Giza Pyramids area (optional).
Your tour will continue with a visit to the renowned Sphinx, which has stood guard over the necropolis for over 4,500 years with its majestic man-headed lion form. Next, you’ll explore the Valley Temple of King Chephren, learning about ancient Egyptian mummification rituals. This temple was part of the pyramid complex, which included a valley temple, a mortuary temple, and a burial pyramid. The Valley Temple is notable for its preservation and historical significance.
The Giza Pyramids tour also includes a panoramic view of the site, offering stunning photo opportunities of all the pyramids in Giza.
After lunch, you will visit Memphis, the ancient capital of the pharaohs, where you can see the alabaster sphinx statue of Ramses II at the open-air museum.
Your day will conclude with a visit to Saqqara, one of Egypt’s most significant archaeological sites. At Saqqara, explore the Step Pyramid Complex and the Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first stone-built structure with six stone layers. You’ll also have the chance to enter the Pyramid of Teti and visit one of the noble tombs, such as the Kagemni tomb.
