Return to Bahariya Oasis and prepare for your journey back to Cairo, where our representative will accompany you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After resting following your adventurous tour of Bahariya Oasis and the White Desert, prepare for the next leg of your journey—a trip to Siwa Oasis from Cairo. Your Egyptologist tour guide from Cairo Top Tours will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 06:00 am for the Siwa Desert Safari, renowned as one of the most enchanting places in Egypt's Western Desert.

You'll travel to Siwa Oasis via the El-Alamein road, with your first stop at El Alamein to visit the World War II museum and walk among the cemeteries dedicated to those who fought in the war. In 1942, Allied forces led by Britain's Field Marshal Montgomery successfully halted the German-Italian advance towards the River Nile, marking a significant victory albeit with considerable casualties—11,000 killed and 60,000 wounded.

Your personal guide and driver will escort you to the Commonwealth World War II Cemetery, where 7,000 white headstones honor Australian, New Zealand, and British soldiers. Explore the site of the battle and visit the war museum to learn more about its history.

Following this, you'll drive along the picturesque bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean coast, where you'll enjoy a delicious seafood lunch. Afterward, continue your journey to Siwa Oasis, approximately 4 hours drive from Marsa Matrouh.

Upon arrival in Siwa, dine overnight at a charming eco-lodge.

 After that, you will be transferred to see the Temple of Alexander the Great ( the temple of The Oracle ) at the Aghurmi village dates back to the 26th dynasty, and visit the temple of Amun Ra known as the Temple of Um Ubeyda, then experience the unique Siwan heritage through the Siwa House Museum and lunch will be served in the Oasis famous square overlooking Shali at Abdo restaurant you will also visit the Mountain of the Dead ( Jabal el Mawta ) visit the interesting tombs of the rulers of Siwa Oasis during the 26th dynasty like the tombs of SI Amon, MSW Isis, crocodile tomb, then you will enjoy relaxing afternoon at Cleopatra Spring (Ein Guba) swimming and dipping into the sparkling water after that you will be transferred Fitnas Island to enjoy once in the lifetime Sunset view.

Embark on an Egypt Desert Safari amidst golden sand dunes, reaching the fossils area where ancient rocky coral reefs from the Cambrian era are visible. Discover one of the highlights of the Great Sand Sea—a picturesque lake nestled in the desert. With luck, you may spot flamingo birds and have the opportunity to swim in the lake's cool waters, enjoying the peaceful desert surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere.

Next, pass by Dakrour Mountain and experience sandboarding—an exhilarating activity down massive sand dunes. While not as fast as snowboarding, with the right preparation, you can enjoy thrilling descents. After sandboarding, unwind at Bir Wahid hot spring renowned for its soothing effects on muscles.

Witness another breathtaking sunset amidst the dunes of the Great Sand Sea, savoring Bedouin tea in this tranquil setting.

 

On the final day of our Siwa Oasis tour package, enjoy breakfast at the Eco-lodge before your transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.
