Meet our representative early in the morning at your hotel to begin your Giza Pyramids tour. You’ll visit the three colossal pyramids at Giza, built for the Old Kingdom kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. You’ll also explore the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, believed to have been constructed for King Khafra. This is a great opportunity to ride camels around the pyramids and capture memorable photos with the assistance of a Bedouin guide.
Next, you’ll be transferred to Cairo downtown, specifically to the iconic Tahrir Square, to start your Egyptian Museum tour. Your private guide will provide fascinating insights into the many artifacts housed in the museum, which was established in 1902 and contains thousands of statues and coffins.
We’ll then head to Old Cairo for an enlightening Coptic Cairo tour. Visit the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, one of the oldest Christian sites in Egypt, as well as the Cavern Church of Saint Sergius and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish place of worship in Egypt.
After your Cairo day trips, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
