King Djoser, a prominent ruler of the 3rd dynasty, had his Step Pyramid designed by the famed architect Imhotep. You’ll also visit the tomb of Kagemni, son-in-law of King Teti from the 6th dynasty.
Next, you'll head to the ancient city of Memphis to view artifacts from various periods of the pharaonic era, including the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis and the colossal statue of King Ramses II.
Continue to the Pyramids of Giza, where you'll explore the three pyramids built by the 4th dynasty kings: Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Marvel at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 4,000 years until the Lincoln Cathedral's completion in 1311 A.D.
