Savor your breakfast in the cozy early hours before making your way to Bahariya Oasis for a tour of the White Desert.
The White Desert, about 45 kilometers north of the Farafra Oasis, located in the New Valley Governorate to the south of Cairo, is called such due to the white surface covering most of it. Extending to an area of 3,010 square kilometers, it was declared a national park in 2002. The Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs often calls this reserve an ‘open museum’ since it features habitats, landforms, plants, animals, and even inhabited caves with stone-age artifacts.
In continuation of this, you will proceed to study the Black Desert, where you can see the black volcanic hills, which were previously active ages ago, and the volcanic rock known as jasper, which forms the main building material of the Black Desert. The English Mountain is the highest peak around.
Later, its time to go back to Cairo, where you‘ll check into a hotel for the night.
