Day meals: breakfast, lunch.

On the third day of your 13-day Cairo, Egypt Nile cruise, Fayoum and Bahariya Oasis package, after breakfast this morning, you will head to visit:

Egyptian Museum:
The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East and has the most comprehensive collection of earlier Egyptian relics in the world. It’s items range from as early as the pre-dynastic period through to the Greek and Roman eras.

Saladin Citadel:
The castle of Salah al Din is located in the citadel district atop the sad dune in'mount ‘Mukattam’, located to the south of airo. Also called castle on the mountain, one of the famous tourist attractions situated in Islamic Cairo is this citadel, which is an unusual-shaped one unlike many fortress structures, hence making it iconic.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
Historical records indicate that the famous Arab historian Al-Maqrizi provided a description of the khan that states it was a rectangular two-story building with an open center used as a yard and situated as a square building adorned with vending stalls around it. The ground floor was occupied by commercial outlets, while the floors above had more shops and residential units. It was also a center for exchange of goods in the sultanate of Barquq in the year 1400 A.D.

Later that day, you will spend the night at the hotel.

Daily meals: breakfast, lunch.

Rise early in the morning, savor your delicious breakfast, then head towards the airport and take a flight to Luxor, check in on your Nile cruise, and proceed to visit.

Karnak temple:

One of the distinguishing factors of the Karnak Temple is that it is a collection of many large temples that started being constructed in the 11th Dynasty, which is around 2134 B.C. All temples contained within Karnak are enclosed within brick walls and are connected by corridors manned by rows of statues arranged in two lines of the Sphinx, which is referred to as the way of rams.

Luxor temple:

Luxor Temple is considered a vast cluster of ancient Egyptian temples located on the east bank of the Nile River within the borders of the contemporary city of Luxor, now referred to as (Old Thebes, which began in the year 14000 BC. Luxor Temple was erected primarily for devotion and prayer to Amon Ra (Amun), his female counterpart Mut, and Khonsu, their offspring; collectively, these three deities were also referred to as the Theban Triad (The Triad of Thebes).

then transfer on back once again to your Nile cruise.

Day meals: all-inclusive

As you embark on the fifth day of your 13-day Cairo, Nile cruise, Fayoum, and Oasis Christmas package, you will visit:

Valley of the Kings:
During excavations, white sand constitutes one of the material features that separate pharaonic tombs, while black soil or black pebbles indicate a pharaonic burial. A design of black lines incised around the center of a pot or any other object is also a strong sign of tombs in a burial site. Any of such signs, in addition to bones, are clear signs of a pharaonic burial place.

Hatshepsut Temple:
Among other monuments, this temple is quite important as it was the first temple built by a woman who was a pharaoh.

Colossi of Memnon:
The two enormous statues are the only remaining statues of this Amenhotep III temple.

After your tour, you will transfer back to your Nile cruise.

Day meals: all-inclusive.

On the sixth day of your cruise, you will embark on a trip to Edfu. Later, after your breakfast, you will go for a visit to:
Edfu Temple:
Edfu is one of the main ancient cities of Egypt and therefore attracts many visitors.

Kom Ombo Temple:
The temple of Kom Ombo was erected by the Ptolemies during the reign of Cleopatra to house two gods: Sobek the crocodile and Horus the hawk. Therefore, the complex incorporates two temples in one , which includes all the elements of ancient Egyptian temple architecture as practiced by the ancient architect.

After these outings, you shall come back to your cruise on the Nile.

Day meals: all-inclusive.

On day 7 of your 13-day Cairo, Nile cruise, Fayoum and Oasis Christmas package, you will start the day with breakfast, then be taken to:

High Dam:
The Aswan High Dam design was drafted by Adrian Daninos, an Egyptian-Greek architect. The Aswan High Dam project was suggested during the revolution of 1952 to prevent the floods of the Nile, store its waters, and produce power.

Unfinished Obelisk:
The ancient Egyptians saw obelisks as a type of petrified beam. This one, however, has been the only one left unchipped all the way back from the time of Pharaoh Akhenaten, who worshiped the Aten, the sun disk.

Philae Temple:
These monuments originally located on Philae Island were transferred to Agilkia Island in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters resulting from the Aswan High Dam construction as part of the UNESCO Nubia project.

After your visits, you’ll transfer back to your Nile cruise.

Day meals: all-inclusive.

On the 8th day of your tour package, after a delightful breakfast, prepare for your transfer for the journey to Abu Simbel:

Abu Simbel:

The temples needed to be relocated after having been cut into blocks to avoid being submerged in the manmade Lake Nasser, which was created following the construction of the Aswan High Dam on the Nile. Abu Simbel is an important tourist site in Egypt.

After the visit, board a Nile cruise to pack up your belongings before flying to Cairo.

Transfer to hotel in Cairo for overnight stay.

Day meals: breakfast.

Enjoy a free day in Cairo for a walking tour with the locals, allowing for some relaxing moments. Alternatively, your tour leader will offer optional tours you can choose from.

Day meals: breakfast.

Before we set off to Fayoum, make sure that you have some breakfast first. Your exciting journey starts from:
Wadi El Hitan: Fifty million years ago, Wadi El Hitan could be found underwater in an ocean. Over time, that ocean shrank because of tectonic forces, and thus many marine organisms turned into fossils, among which are the fossils of ancient whales, in great numbers. More than a hundred fossils of primitive whales and numerous excavated shells and shark bones have been found in this area. After your exploration, enjoy lunch in the Tunis village.

Overnight.

Day meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Before starting off to your first destination, relish the delicious breakfast.

Lake Qarun: Lake Qarun has been a naturally rewarding place for many of the local fishermen living in the nearby villages as it possesses a lot of fish species such as tilapia, sea bass, sea bream, and prawns. It is located southwest of Cairo between farming areas and rugged deserts.

Wadi El Rayan:  Wadi El Rayan, which is in Southwestern Egypt near the cities of Fayoum, is located 65 km accompanied by two manmade lakes, which were brought to create to take care of excess agricultural drainage waters from the inner oases of Fayoum. It also boasts the only waterfalls found in Egypt. In the past, rivers drained in the Fayoum Oasis flowed out into Lake Qarun, which was situated to the north.

After your outing, you will head back to Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day meals: breakfast, lunch.

Savor your breakfast in the cozy early hours before making your way to Bahariya Oasis for a tour of the White Desert.

The White Desert, about 45 kilometers north of the Farafra Oasis, located in the New Valley Governorate to the south of Cairo, is called such due to the white surface covering most of it. Extending to an area of 3,010 square kilometers, it was declared a national park in 2002. The Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs often calls this reserve an ‘open museum’ since it features habitats, landforms, plants, animals, and even inhabited caves with stone-age artifacts.

In continuation of this, you will proceed to study the Black Desert, where you can see the black volcanic hills, which were previously active ages ago, and the volcanic rock known as jasper, which forms the main building material of the Black Desert. The English Mountain is the highest peak around.

Later, its time to go back to Cairo, where you‘ll check into a hotel for the night.

Day meals: breakfast, lunch.

Enjoy your breakfast before transferring to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight, marking the end of our service.
