Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative, who will hold a sign with your name and take you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. We’ll review your 7-Day Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan Christmas Tour itinerary to ensure that all pickup times are convenient for you.
Imagine the sight of one of the most marvelous events on Earth: the Laser-Data Show. The night has a Sound and Light Show being presented with the Great Sphinx as the narrator.
Overnight stay at your Cairo hotel.
Welcome Drink.
You will meet your personal tour guide at the lobby of the hotel after enjoying a buffet breakfast to catch what Cairo day trips bring. He will first take you to the Pyramids of Giza, among which are the Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Mycerinus Pyramids. The tour will end with a visit to the magnificent Sphinx and the mortuary temple constructed from limestone, granite, and alabaster.
Next, you’ll be transferred to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser in Saqqara. This is the oldest stone structure in the world. Saqqara is one of Egypt's richest archaeological sites, showcasing the mastaba tombs of nobles and the evolution of burial practices in ancient Egypt.
After lunch at a decent restaurant is followed by a stopover in Memphis, the old Egyptian capital of the Old Kingdom. You will see Ramses II’s magnificent statue and the great Alabaster Sphinx, the second-largest sphinx after the Great Sphinx of Giza.
After completing your Saqqara and Memphis tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.

Start your day with a hotel-provided breakfast, then head out to explore the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, built by Emperor Trajan 2000 years ago. You’ll also visit the Hanging Church, constructed in the 3rd century, and the Church of St. Sergius, where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed. The Coptic Cairo Tour will conclude with a visit to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest in the area.
Next, we’ll pass through Cairo’s Downtown area to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum.
After lunch, we’ll continue to the Citadel of Saladin and explore the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, which offers a panoramic view of Islamic Cairo. We’ll also see modern landmarks like the Cairo Tower.
To round off your Cairo tours, you’ll have some time to shop in the historic and unique Khan El Khalili market.
Finally, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

On departure from your Cairo hotel, one of our personnel will transfer you to Cairo Airport for your Luxor flight. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will start on the west bank with a visit to the ancient tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Then, you will be taken to the Temple of the Deir El Bahari, also known as the Temple of the Queen of Hatshepsut. You'll next visit the Colossi of Memnon on your Luxor day tours.
Lunch will be served in a Nile view restaurant before you move over to Luxor's East Bank. On the eastern bank, you will see the Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built in the New Kingdom and the major site of religion and administration.
After your attractions, you will be driven to check in at your Luxor hotel, where you will relax for the night.

Begin your day with breakfast served in the main restaurant. Then, you will head for a tour to the Edfu temple dedicated to the ancient Egyptian god Horus, among the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
Then your drive will head north to stop and serve you scrumptious views along the River Nile, skirting the lush banks on the way. You will stop to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, which sits on a raised extremity looking down the Nile. This temple is very interesting in that it has a double entrance and is dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and the creator of the world, and Haroeris, the falcon-headed Horus.
Our representative will then escort you to your hotel in Aswan.

After a delightful breakfast, your Cairo Top Tours Egyptologist guide will take you to start your Aswan sightseeing. Our first trip out is to the High Dam, which controls the water flow of the river, backs it up in flood time for agricultural irrigation, and saves and produces electric power. After your High Dam visit, you are taken to Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, one of the most visually stunning temples in Egypt that occupied so much of the island.
Following your tours, you'll be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you'll spend the night at your Cairo hotel.

On the final day of your 7-Day Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan Christmas Tour, enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel. A Cairo Top Tours representative will meet you and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
