Itinerary

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a certified tour guide will greet you with a personalized sign bearing your name. You will be chauffeured to your hotel in Giza or Cairo, where we will assist with the check-in process. We will also go over your detailed itinerary for the 6-day Cairo and White Desert Christmas Tour to ensure all pickup times are accurate.

Enjoy your first breakfast buffet at the hotel, followed by your personal English-speaking guide accompanying you to the Giza Plateau. Here, your dreams will come true as you visit the magnificent Great Pyramid of King Cheops, renowned for its perfect orientation that continues to impress astronomers worldwide. Your guide will also take you to explore the Pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, the smallest royal pyramid in the Necropolis. You'll have ample time for photos and detailed descriptions. Additionally, marvel at the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue with the head of a human and the body of a lion, and visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren, an ancient site of mummification.

Lunch will be served at a high-quality restaurant in Cairo. Afterward, venture to Islamic Cairo to experience its bustling markets and witness authentic Egyptian life. Don't miss the opportunity to try traditional mint tea at El Fishawy or Layaly Al-Hussein, Cairo's oldest cafes in Khan El Khalili. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Cairo.

Next, visit the Egyptian Museum where your guide will provide detailed insights into its extensive collection, including the treasures of King Tutankhamen discovered in the Valley of the Kings in 1922.

Embark on a Coptic Cairo tour, exploring the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, built by Emperor Trajan in the 1st century. Visit the Hanging Church, perched atop the fortress towers, and stroll through Old Cairo's streets with your private guide. Discover the Church of St. Sergius, believed to have housed the Holy Family, and conclude your tour at Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of Cairo's oldest Jewish synagogues.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then check out and prepare to meet your accredited tour guide from Cairo's Top Tours. Travel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle towards Bahariya Oasis, approximately 4 hours away from Cairo. Upon arrival, your first stop will be at the Valley of the Golden Mummies, discovered by chance when a donkey carriage fell into a hole revealing thousands of mummies dating back to the Roman era, many adorned with gold. Next, explore the Tombs of the Nobles, ancient burial sites of pharaonic rulers of the oasis. You'll also visit the temple attributed to Alexander the Great, though weathering has damaged some of its inscriptions, and Ein El Meffetla, the ancient city's central temple in Al Qasr.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at the oasis before checking into your hotel for some leisure time. Take a dip in the hotel's hot spring to experience the region's mineral-rich groundwater.

Before sunset, take a guided walk through the oasis, interacting with locals to learn about their traditions and customs. Then, ascend Black Mountain for a panoramic view of the oasis and its clear blue sky during sunset—a climb well worth the breathtaking experience.

We'll then explore the local palm trees and fruit gardens before enjoying a delightful lunch. Next, we venture into the desert to discover the unique landscape of the Black Desert, characterized by volcanic formations and mountains covered in small black stones. Our journey continues to the Crystal Mountain and the Agabat Valley, with a brief stop at El Haize Valley.

As we reach the White Desert, marvel at its vast chalk formations sculpted by seasonal sandstorms, creating intriguing shapes that appear almost intentionally crafted.

Tonight, experience camping in the White Desert with a rare opportunity to spot the eastern desert fox. Enjoy a spectacular sunset view while local Bedouin guides prepare a fresh dinner.
