Start your Cairo day tours after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Meet your certified tour guide to embark on the Giza Pyramids tour, where you'll marvel at the awe-inspiring Great Pyramid of King Cheops, along with those of his son Chephren and grandson Mycerinus.

The pyramid of Cheops stands impressively at 146 meters tall and measures 230 meters on each side. It was built by the son of King Snefru, founder of the fourth dynasty and builder of four significant pyramids. Take your time as your guide narrates the captivating stories that led the ancient Egyptian kings to commission these monumental structures. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy an optional camel ride across the Giza Pyramids plateau for a panoramic view of the entire area.

Explore the Valley Temple and the iconic Great Sphinx within King Chephren's funerary complex. The mummification temple, designed for rituals such as the Opening of the Mouth ceremony, provides insight into ancient Egyptian beliefs. Walk through a passageway to stand near this colossal man-headed lion statue, carved directly from bedrock, serving as a symbol of protection. Your guide will explain the significance of sphinxes in ancient Egyptian culture.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at a scenic restaurant overlooking the pyramids before continuing your Cairo excursions to the Saqqara necropolis. This area features the earliest examples of stone pyramids, including the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, masterfully designed by the architect Imhotep with its six mastabas or steps. Explore the ruins of the heb-sed court where the king celebrated his renewal of sovereignty.

Visit the pyramid of King Teti and explore one of the nobles' tombs, such as that of Kagemni, a relative of King Teti from the 6th dynasty, renowned for its well-preserved scenes depicting animals and offerings.

Next, visit the ancient city of Memphis, the original capital of Egypt now known as Mit Rahina. Explore the open-air museum showcasing artifacts and statues, including those of King Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx of Memphis.

At the end of your enriching day exploring Cairo, you will be transported back to your hotel.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch

Enjoy a delicious breakfast early in the morning before embarking on your Cairo excursions. Today's highlight includes a captivating tour of the Egyptian Museum for two hours, followed by exploring the historic Islamic Cairo with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin.

Travel in your private air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo downtown, specifically to Tahrir Square, where you'll encounter the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. With over 120,000 exhibits spanning two floors, the museum showcases artifacts from various periods of Egypt's rich history. Notable displays include the renowned collection of King Tutankhamun and the funerary artifacts of Yuya and Tuya.

Next, journey to the Citadel of Saladin, renowned for its majestic towers and fortifications. Inside, explore the magnificent Alabaster Mosque, commissioned by Mohamed Ali in 1805 and designed in the Turkish architectural style. The Citadel itself was originally constructed in the 12th century by Saladin to protect Cairo from potential threats.
