Safaga is a port and resort on the shore of the Red Sea with many distinguished tourist villages, hotels and restaurants, and is characterized by its pure, pollution-free air, high-salinity water and black sand dunes that have distinct therapeutic properties. The city is also famous for the production of phosphate, one of the most important and sought-after materials in the local and international markets.
