The Shali Lodge, also known as kenooz by the Siwan community, is a charming hotel located in the Siwa oasis, in the heart of the olive and palm groves. It is less than five minutes' walk from the town centre. Built in the popular Siwan style, Shali Lodge offers 20 rooms of different shapes and sizes. The lodge has been in operation since 1999 and was designed in collaboration with local Siwan artisans and developers, as part of an initiative to revive the declining culture of Siwan architecture and construction.
