Your tour guide will meet you at the cruise ship in Port Said for the beginning of your full-day tour.
The Giza will be the first stop, including the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Drive on to the Valley Temple, where the priests prepared the body of King Chephren for burial, and get acquainted with the Sphinx, a figure with a lion’s body and the head of Chephren.
You will be served lunch at a nearby restaurant, and then you will continue to Sakkara, which is situated only 27 km away from Cairo towards the south. Here you will visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first of its kind constructed above ground back then—a departure from enclosing in simple mastabas to actual pyramids.
Then, you proceed to the Dahshur Pyramids, home to the famous Bent and Red Pyramids located some forty kilometers southeast of Cairo within the premises of similar royal tombs. These pyramids are among the oldest structures in Egypt and are considered to be some of the biggest and almost intact ones.
The last place to tour will be Memphis City, which long was used as the capital of Egypt. City in which there is an erect statue of Ramses II and the Great Alabaster Sphinx dated back from 3100 B.C.
Finally, after the tour, you will be returned to your cruise at Port Said.
