Keep in mind that you are in an Islamic nation and that sometimes it is not polite to take photos of people without their consent, especially of women. However, there are some places, such as army bases, airports, dams, bridges, and metro stations, where taking photos is completely prohibited.
 

You are only left with cabs because there is no Uber (or Careem, the Middle Eastern equivalent). The majority of the cabs in Sharm won't have running meters, therefore it's crucial that you communicate your destination to the driver and agree on a payment before getting in.
