This one-day excursion lets you explore some of Egypt’s most iconic sites away from Luxor. An early morning flight transports you north to Cairo for a full day of sightseeing.

Upon arrival in Cairo, our guide leads us to the Giza Plateau. We’ll view the imposing pyramids and the legendary Sphinx from a distance before continuing into the city.

Our next stop is a local cafe for lunch with the locals. Then it’s on to the Coptic Quarter where we’ll visit a few churches and learn about the history of Christianity in Egypt.

Time permitting, we’ll fit in a brief stop at the Museum of Islamic Art. Then it’s back to the airport for our evening return flight, arriving again in Luxor as the sun sets.

This fast-paced day trip lets you soak up Cairo’s vibrant energy and sample some of its most famous attractions in a condensed one-day visit away from our Luxor base.
