Wekalet El Ghouri, constructed five centuries ago by the Mameluke Sultan Qonsowa al-Ghouri, boasts significant historical importance. Nestled in the heart of Central Cairo, it has become a top destination for visitors to Egypt, offering captivating folkloric shows that beautifully present the country's rich heritage.

A Cairo Top Tours representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport or your hotel, then transfer you to the magnificent Wekalet El Ghouri, located near the famous Khan El-Khalili Bazaar in Downtown Cairo. Here, you will experience the spectacular Wekalet El Ghouri Tanoura Dance Show, managed by the Arts Centre, which presents the Egyptian Folkloric display three days a week from 8:00 to 9:30 PM. This popular dance and music show is sure to get your adrenaline pumping, making it a highlight of your Cairo day tours from the airport.

Afterwards, you can opt for a quick shopping tour in Khan El-Khalili market to see the authentic face of Islamic Cairo and interact with the local people and vendors. Enjoy a hot mint tea or a special mango juice at one of the cafes while observing the street walkers and the everyday life of the locals during this unique Cairo walking tour.
