Itinerary

Your half-day tour will start with a warm welcome at your hotel, where a knowledgeable tour guide from Cairo Top Tours will meet you. The guide will provide an overview of what to expect on your excursion.

Our first stop will be Dahshur, where you'll explore three royal pyramids, including the Red Pyramid of King Snefru, known for its unique reddish hue. This pyramid is significant as the first true pyramid in history and also houses the pharaoh's burial chamber. You'll also visit the Bent Pyramid, notable for its angled sides, a result of a construction miscalculation.

Next, we’ll head to the ancient city of Memphis, located about 40 kilometres south of Cairo. Here, we’ll visit the open-air museum, which showcases an array of historical treasures, including the alabaster sphinx, the second-largest sphinx statue in the world, made from 80 tons of marble, and the colossal statue of Ramses II, now lying on its side. The museum also features numerous priceless artefacts from Egypt's ancient capital.
