The tour that provides the most extraordinary experience in Egypt includes the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids and the captivating historical site of Saqqara.

When preparing for a day tour in Cairo, it's essential to dress comfortably and respect local customs and weather conditions. Here are some clothing and attire tips to consider:

Modesty: Egypt is a conservative country, and it's respectful to dress modestly, especially when visiting historical and religious sites. For both men and women, this means covering your shoulders, cleavage, and knees. Loose-fitting clothing is a good choice.

Light Layers: Cairo can be hot, especially in the summer months. Choose lightweight, breathable fabrics like cotton and linen. Layering is a good idea, as it allows you to adjust your clothing based on the temperature.

Long Sleeves: Long-sleeved shirts or blouses can protect your arms from the sun and help maintain modesty. Consider packing a lightweight cardigan or shawl for additional coverage.

Pants or long skirts: Opt for pants or long skirts that cover your knees. These are comfortable and respectful choices, especially for women.

Sun Protection: Don't forget sun protection, including a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Cairo can be sunny, and sunburn can be uncomfortable.

Comfortable Footwear: Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes or sandals with good support. You'll likely be doing a fair amount of walking, so comfort is essential.

Socks: If you plan to visit mosques or religious sites, you'll need to remove your shoes. Wearing socks can be more comfortable in these situations.

Respectful Attire for Mosques: If you plan to visit mosques, both men and women should have attire that covers their arms, legs, and heads. Women may be asked to wear a headscarf (provided at some mosques) and remove their shoes.

Swimwear: If your tour includes a visit to a pool, beach, or water-related activity, pack swimwear, but remember that wearing swimwear away from the water is generally not appropriate in public areas.

Small Bag: Bring a small bag or backpack to carry essentials like water, a camera, sunscreen, and your passport or ID. Make sure it's secure to guard against pickpocketing.

Respect for Local Culture: Be aware of local customs and sensitivities. Avoid clothing with offensive or political symbols.

Weather Considerations: Check the weather forecast for Cairo during your visit and dress accordingly. In cooler months, you may want a light jacket or sweater for the evenings.

In Cairo, there are lots of cool places to visit like Mosques, Palaces, Sabils (water fountains), and Khans/Markets. People from all over the world come to see the Pyramids and the Cairo Museum, but they shouldn't forget about other important places like Fatimid Cairo and Al Azhar University with its old Mosque. Cairo is like a really big history lesson and a living museum that you shouldn't miss out on.

Visiting the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, is a popular attraction for tourists in Cairo. Here are the common options for visiting the Giza Pyramids from Cairo:

Guided Tours: Taking a guided tour is one of the most convenient and popular ways to visit the Giza Pyramids from Cairo. Cairo Top Tours offers half-day or full-day tours to the pyramids. These tours often include transportation, a knowledgeable guide, and entrance fees to the pyramid complex. Guides can provide valuable insights into the history and significance of the pyramids.

Horse or Camel Rides: At the pyramid site, you can also take a horse or camel ride to explore the area. These options are available for an additional fee and can be a fun way to see the pyramids and the surrounding desert.

Walking: If you are staying in the Giza area or are in relatively close proximity, you can walk to the pyramids. However, keep in mind that it might be a longer walk depending on your location, and it can get hot, so be prepared.

Without a doubt! We've opted to take visitors to places that are both local and have the lowest risk of becoming sick. We also advise you to avoid drinking tap water and instead drink bottled or filtered water. And as for attempting anything particularly strange, we'll let you do that on your own time because we don't want you to get sick! Food is not included in the package, so bring cash with you.

The best time to visit Egypt largely depends on personal preferences, the activities planned, and tolerance for weather conditions. However, here are some considerations regarding weather and crowd sizes:

  •    Peak Season (November to February): This period is the peak tourist season in Egypt due to pleasant weather, especially in the north and along the Red Sea.
  •    Shoulder Seasons (March to April, September to October): These shoulder months offer a balance between fewer crowds and relatively good weather.
  •  Summer (May to August): Summer in Egypt can be very hot, particularly in inland areas like Luxor and Aswan.
