Itinerary
Meet our licensed Egyptologist at the start of your budget tour to the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, either in Cairo or Giza. From there, you'll be driven to the Giza Pyramids site. Your private tour guide will provide a detailed introduction to ancient Egyptian civilization, the history of Egypt, and the construction of the great pyramids.
We’ll head to the plateau for a panoramic view of the necropolis and offer the option of a short camel ride near the pyramids. Along the way, we’ll stop by the pyramid of King Chephren, the son of Khufu, who built his pyramid slightly smaller than his father's.
Next, we’ll visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren, the best-preserved temple on the site, which was used for mummification. You’ll have the opportunity to take fantastic photos next to the Great Sphinx, believed to have been carved for King Chephren.
