Then, proceed to the well-known Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo to start your private tour of the Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum, which was built in 1902 and houses thousands of statues and coffins, is home to numerous artifacts. Then, your tour guide will take you on a tour of Old Cairo, where you can see the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali inside. You will first stop for lunch at a high-quality restaurant before moving to Coptic Cairo to continue your tour. You will be amazed by the Hanging Church, one of the highlights of old Cairo, and you will also stop at the Church of St. Sergius, also known as the Cavern Church, which was constructed above the crypt where the Holy Family spent nearly three months and the well where the Holy Family drank. Finally, you will go to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is reputed to have been the location of the pharaoh's palace where Moses picked up the basket from the Nile.
