Inspired by the Sufi practices of the Dervishes, the Egyptian Tanoura show has become a popular folklore tradition that attracts locals and tourists alike. Enjoy the band's performances accompanied by popular musical instruments (Rababa, Salamiya, Mezamar, Sajat and Tabla), as well as singing accompanied by a popular minstrel who relies on spontaneity and religious chanting, and the band's dance elements are based on the Tanoura dancer (Al-Lefif) and dancers (Hanatieh) who dance with the percussion instrument (Al-Mizhar).
Reflections Al-Ghoury Agency, located in the heart of Fatimid Cairo, was once famous as a huge commercial edifice, but now it has turned into an artistic citadel that produces works of art that breathe the smell of the past and increase the love for the Islamic Cairo region.
Al-Ghuri Agency is a cultural beacon that lit up Islamic Cairo from its opening as an artists' studio until the end of the 1990s, where it was witness to the holding of cultural events and forums in the presence of senior state officials at the time, until the spotlight slowly began to shift to new cultural centres. Tour Leader from Cairo Top Tours will meet you to be with you during your trip. He will meet you in front of your hotel with a good driver driving a modern air-conditioned car to transfer you from your hotel to Al Ghori Agency, which is located at the end of Al Ghoriya Street at its intersection with Al Azhar Street and takes the form of a distinctive architectural block where it takes a single extension whose lines appear in all parts of this architectural block. It is located in the heart of ‘Historic Cairo’ in the center of the Egyptian capital.
The Wakala Al Ghori Arts Centre is the fourth cultural center established by the Cultural Development Fund in Darb Al Ahmar and Gamaleya after a successful experience in establishing creative centers in historic houses in Cairo, the first of which was the Artistic Creativity Centre in Beit Al Harawi and Zeinab Khatun House in 1994, followed by the Artistic Creativity Centre in Beit Al Suhaimi, which opened in 2001, and the Artistic Creativity Centre for Children in Beit Al Aini, which opened in 2003.
