You will visit the greatest archaeological landmark in the world, the famous Giza Pyramids, which continue to amaze the world to this day. According to the Russian archaeological mission affiliated with the Institute of Oriental Studies, the mission discovered a rock-cut tomb in the eastern part of the Giza necropolis, 300 meters from the Great Pyramid of Khufu. The institute said that a small excavation revealed the remains of a dazzlingly decorated wooden coffin and intact ceramic vessels, which were typically used for the deceased's journey to the afterlife. Archaeologists are getting ready to open a new entrance to the burial chamber.

You will see the Great Sphinx, which is a colossal stone statue carved from a single piece of limestone. It is considered one of the largest monumental statues in the world, measuring 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height. It features a powerful lion's body with a human head, adorned with a distinctive royal headdress. It is estimated that the statue took three years and 100 workers to build, using stone hammers and solid copper chisels. The Great Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre, between 2575 and 2465 BC, and historians estimate it is approximately 4,500 years old.

You will visit the Valley Temple of the King Khafre, which was the main entrance to the complex and a reception area for the living king when he visited to inspect the construction work. It was also where the sacred funerary rites of the deceased king were performed and perhaps also where he was mummified.

You will visit the Saqqara area, which dates back more than 3,000 years. The Old Kingdom is considered the most prosperous period in its history, when the first and most important revolution in the art of construction and architecture occurred. The brilliant engineer Imhotep used stone instead of mud brick to construct the impressive funerary complex of King Djoser, making him the first person to construct a building entirely of stone. This is the reason for the fame of the distinctive Pyramid of Djoser. Saqqara contains a large group of pyramids, numbering approximately 30, 15 of which are dedicated to the king, while the rest are religious pyramids or pyramids for queens.

You will visit the Teti Pyramid section, which includes the iconic pyramid of Teti, the first king of the Sixth Dynasty, and the pyramids of his two wives, as well as a group of other famous tombs, such as the Tomb of Mereruka. You will also see the Tombs of the Nobles, which include the tombs of kings and senior officials of the First and Second Dynasties, and a vast collection of tombs of prominent individuals from the Old Kingdom, such as the famous Kagemni Tomb.

After enjoying this wonderful tour, we will return you to your hotel for some rest after your long tour.

In the early morning, you will meet your professional tour guide, who will take you on a wonderful tour of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, where you will see some of the most beautiful Pharaonic artifacts in the world.

The famous and skilled sculptor Ferdinand Febvre was commissioned to sculpt the two large statues that flank the main door, representing Upper and Lower Egypt at the gate of the Egyptian Museum. The foundation stone for the Egyptian Museum was laid on April 1, 1897, in the presence of the renowned Khedive Abbas II. Gaston Maspero was entrusted with scientific supervision and transporting and displaying the museum's rare artifacts after construction was completed.

You will visit the stunning Hanging Church, built on two ancient towers of the powerful Roman fortress known as the "Babylon Fortress," built during the reign of Emperor Trajan in the 2nd century AD. The church is 13 meters above ground level and measures 23 meters long, 18.5 meters wide, and 9.5 meters high. This historic church was built in the late 4th and early 5th centuries AD. You will visit the Church of Abu Serga, named after Saints Sergius and Bacchus, who were martyred in Syria during the reign of the Greek Emperor Maximianus for converting to Christianity. The Church of Abu Serga is famous because it was built over the cave where the Holy Family stayed for a period during their flight to Egypt. The church suffered some damage due to a fire that raged in the famous city of Fustat during the late Umayyad period and was renovated during the reign of Harun al-Rashid.

You will visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is one of the oldest synagogues in the world. The main features of the temple remain in their original locations. For example, the pulpit, where prayers are read, stands in the center of the temple. The altar, which represents the direction of prayer and is the holiest element in the Jewish temple, is decorated in a distinctive arabesque style and inlaid with mother-of-pearl, blending various artistic traditions. The Ten Commandments are written on the altar in ancient Hebrew.

We will then visit the Islamic Cairo area to see the oldest and most famous mosques and Islamic buildings in Egypt. You will wander through one of the most famous and beautiful markets in the world, Khan El-Khalili, which includes many beautiful gold and silver accessories and numerous exquisite handicrafts.

After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Our representative will meet you at your hotel in Cairo in the morning,  at the scheduled time, to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your flight home after you have thoroughly enjoyed exploring all the distinguished sites you wanted to visit in Cairo and Giza.
