Our first step to discover the works of the Egyptian pharaohs is to see:
The Unfinished Obelisk, carved from granite stones, is a strong proof for how the ancient Egyptians had the creativity and the art to create a work of art from stones to narrate the history after hundreds of years. The obelisk is not a usual piece of art, but it’s a massive piece that weighs about 1168 tons from the Red granite. Hatshepsut ordered to put it in the temple of Karnak which is one of the best sites that you can visit during a Luxor Day Tour. The temple has witnessed numerous kingdoms: The Greek ruling, the Roman ruling, and the Byzantine ruling, and each kingdom left its print on the walls of the temple. It is one of the biggest temples that had been built on the Philae Island.
