The first place you will explore is the Saladin Citadel. This majestic citadel went through many historical events, as its walls witnessed several historical events during the Ayyubid and Mamluk eras, the French campaign against Egypt in 1798 and until Muhammad Ali Pasha assumed the rule of Egypt, where he restored its prosperity and grandeur. Sultan Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub was the first to think of building the castle on the hill in 572/1176 AD, where his minister Bahaa Al-Din Qaraqosh Al-Asadi demolished the mosques and tombs that stood on the hill to build the castle on it, where workers carved the rock and created an artificial ditch separating the Mokattam mountain from the hill to increase its immunity and strength.

During your visit to the Saladin Citadel, you will have the opportunity to see and visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque. It is one of the most famous monumental mosques in Cairo. It was built by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848 in Ottoman style, similar to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. It is sometimes called Alabaster Mosque because of the frequent use of this type of marble in the lining of its walls. Muhammad Ali Pasha's successors took over the mosque, completing the building and adding some minor additions, as well as making it a venue for annual religious events.

Then our representative will accompany you to one of the famous streets in Egypt: Al Moez Street, which is the largest outdoor museum of Islamic antiquities in the world and a unique heritage site inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1979. The street's names have changed over the years, but until 1937 AD, it was known as Al-Moez Street in honor of the Fatimid caliph Al-Moez Din Allah (341-365 AH/953-975 AD), who ruled Egypt from 358-365 AH/969-975 AD—the first Fatimid caliph of Egypt.

After that, we will conclude our excursion with a visit to a popular tourist destination for tourists visiting Cairo and Egypt in general. The Khan el Khalili Market was one of the districts of the Downtown Cairo neighborhood in the western region of the Cairo Governorate. It is distinguished by the abundance of markets, bazaars, shops, and well-known restaurants that you can try while there, as well as the high volume of tourists and the locals' accustomation to them.
