A wonderful journey through Egypt's history and culture can be had at the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum, which showcase the remarkable architectural and engineering skills of the ancient Egyptians. The Sphinx is the earliest known monumental sculpture, and the Valley Temple is still standing. The Giza complex also houses the Solar Boat Museum.
We will then go to Cairo, Egypt, to see the Egyptian Museum, which has one of the greatest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the whole world. With more than 120,000 objects on exhibit, the museum provides an amazing amount of cultural and historical resources. The royal mummy of Ramesses II, the statue of Akhenaten, and the funeral mask of Tutankhamun are among the most well-known items in the museum.
After seeing the Giza Pyramids, let's have lunch and take a little break before replenishing for the remainder of the day. We will have the energy to get through the remainder of the day if we eat Egyptian food at a restaurant.
