12 Days Tour to Cairo, Cruise, and Sharm El Sheikh

Your guide will meet you at the hotel after breakfast to begin your fantastic Cairo Day Tour to the breathtaking Giza Plateau. You will see the Great Sphinx, the Pyramids of Chefren and Mykerinus, the Great Pyramid of Cheops, and the Valley Temple, which faces the enormous statue.

Next, travel to Sakkara, which is renowned for the Step Pyramid Complex, which was constructed by renowned Djoser architect Imhotep. This building is thought to be the oldest stone structure in the entire world. Along with seeing the inside of the Pyramid of Teti, you will also tour the nobles' tombs at Saqqara, where you can see how ancient Egyptian life was lived, with all of its activities depicted in paintings and inscriptions on the walls and passageways dating back 4,000 years.

We will travel to Memphis to see the outdoor museum, which is renowned for its enormous statue of the fabled King Ramses and the second-largest, alabaster sphinx, which is constructed from an 80-ton block of marble, after lunch at one of our excellent local restaurants.

Then you will be transferred back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven by your personal tour guide to the Egyptian Museum. In addition to housing the world's largest collection of Egyptian antiquities, the museum is home to the Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh Tutankhamen, the only intact royal treasure.

Our next destination is the Old Cairo Tours, where you can witness the magnificent, serene scene of Islamic and Coptic monuments combined, a sight that can only be experienced in Egypt, the land of peace. We will tour the Citadel of Saladin, which houses the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, and enjoy a bird's-eye view of Islamic Cairo, which is home to hundreds and even millennia-old mosques, minarets, and domes.

We will proceed to Coptic Cairo, where we will see the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, the Church of St. Sergius, the Hanging Church suspended above its ancient bastions, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is believed to be the location of the pharaoh's palace from which Moses collected the basket from the Nile.

Following lunch, we will travel to Islamic Cairo, where we will explore the city's gates and walls as well as its historic streets that date back to the tenth century. Lastly, you will enjoy tea in the oldest cafe Al-fishawy, located in Cairo's old bazaar, Khan El Khalili, during the evening.

Back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

In order to make your way to Cairo International Airport and your flight to Aswan, you will check out of the hotel. One of our representatives will greet you when you arrive and help you to your wonderful Egypt Nile River Cruise.

Before lunch, we will board the ship and begin your Aswan day trip, which will include stops at the Temple of Philae and the High Dam. Following that, we'll set sail for Kom Ombo, a historic city founded in the Ptolemaic period.

Have your afternoon tea while sailing to Edfu.

Dinner on board then you can enjoy the disco party.

Overnight in Edfu.

After breakfast, go to the Edfu Temple as part of your Egypt Nile River Cruise. The Ptolemies constructed this magnificent temple, which is devoted to the worship of the falcon god Horus. The journey there will be beautiful!

After that, you will cross the lock to sail to Luxor.

Have your afternoon Tea. Dinner on board & Galabya party. 

Overnight in Luxor.

After breakfast on board, travel to the West Bank to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Nile River inside of history. Your Luxor Day Tour will begin with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, a place where you can enter the tombs of numerous dynasties and see the rock-cut tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs.Next, pay a visit to the Deir El Bahari Temple.

You will see the temples of Karnak and Luxor during your Luxor tour. Then, you will be astounded by the granite statues of Ramses the Great and the courtyard and enormous columns of the Luxor Temple. We'll make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon on your way back; these two enormous statues depict Amenophis III facing the Nile.

Lunch will be served on board.

Afternoon Tea will be served on the upper deck of your Egypt Nile River Cruise, and overnight in Luxor.

Arrival at the Nile River Cruise Terminal following breakfast. After that, you'll be taken to the airport in Luxor so you can catch a flight to Sharm El-Sheikh. You will be taken to your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh for the night after landing at the airport.

Note: During our Egypt Tours, the majority of flights from Luxor Airport to Sharm El-Sheikh Airport are indirect routes that pass through Cairo International Airport.

You can reserve our optional tour to Ras Mohammed National Park, a terrestrial and aquatic nature reserve, or spend a free day in Sharm El-Sheikh. At the southernmost point of Sinai, the 480 square kilometer protected area is located where the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba converge. 

Several endangered mammal species can be found in the dry desert landscape of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals, and granite mountains, including the Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex, and red fox. The local birds, such as gulls, ospreys, terns, and herons, are easier to spot. Every year, thousands of white storks fly over Ras Mohammed, flying south in September and October and north again in April and May. The park is home to about 85 different plant species, including mangroves.

You can reserve our Quad Bike day tour, where you will be picked up, or you can spend a free day in Sharm El-Sheikh. Drive from your hotel to the Quad Bike center at 2:00 pm; it will take about 15 minutes. Launch the Quad Bike Adventure after a quick safety and driving lesson.

Admire the breathtaking views as you drive across the sand dunes of the Sinai desert. Stop at Wadi Al-Aat's highest point after about an hour's drive so you can relax and enjoy a traditional Bedouin herbal tea. You will be taken back to your hotel after riding the bike back to Sharm. Free night.

Enjoy a free day in Sharm or sign up for our optional tour to The Monastery of St. Catherine, which is situated in the center of Sinai, at the base of Mount Sinai's Gebel Musa.The Greek Orthodox Church owns and runs this stunning monastery, and its library is home to the second-largest collection of illuminated manuscripts in the world.

The Burning Bush is one of many old pieces of art that you can view, along with priceless icons, exquisite wall paintings, exquisitely carved doors, and other fine religious ornaments.

Overnight in Sharm.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the airport in Sharm El Sheikh to catch your flight back to Cairo. After arriving, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will meet you and transport you to your hotel in Cairo, where you can either reserve one of our optional Cairo Day Tours or spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
